10/04/2011 Senior Mechanical Engineer
We have an immediate need for an experienced, proactive, take charge Engineer to support our Wyco line of concrete vibrators. The Sr. Mechanical Engineer will design and optimize mechanical and electro-mechanical components for assembly of concrete consolidation finishing tools and systems, evaluate various manufacturing methods (including injection molding, investment casting, fabricating, stamping, etc.) for assemblies and components, interpret various North American and International safety standards and design products and processes to comply accordingly and specify and design components including universal electric motors, hydraulic motors, eccentrics, bearings, flexible shafts, couplings, flanges, housings, etc. A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering is required along with a minimum of 5 years of related experience. Experience in mechanical design with electro-mechanical components is preferred. We offer a competitive salary, bonus plan and great benefits package. We have an immediate need for an experienced, highly motivated sales professional to manage flow meter sales in our Northeast sales region including: ME, VT, NH, MA, CT, RI, NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD and Washington D.C in the US as well as Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and New Brunswick in Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a sales plan to achieve annual sales goals; developing and maintaining relationships with prospects, customers and dealers; performing forecasting activities; delivering sales presentations; and negotiating and preparing sales quotes. Extensive travel is required. The ideal candidate is a proactive, confident self starter that thrives in competitive situations.
